Editorial Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
Sourcing
We aim to cite a reliable, checkable source for specific factual claims — figures, dates, deal terms, and named studies or reports. Where a claim is repeated widely in coverage of a topic but doesn't trace back to a single verifiable primary source, we say so explicitly rather than presenting it as a sourced fact. We do not fabricate statistics, studies, quotes, or citations.
AI assistance and human review
Some drafting, research organization, and editing on this Site is done with the assistance of AI tools. Every published article is reviewed by a human editor before publication, who is responsible for the accuracy of claims, the honesty of sourcing, and the overall editorial judgment of the piece. AI assistance does not replace that review, and we do not publish AI-generated content without it.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. Material factual errors will be corrected in the article text, and for significant corrections we will note what changed and when. You can report a suspected error via our contact page.
Conflicts of interest
We do not currently run advertising or sponsorships on this Site. If that changes, sponsored or paid content will be clearly and conspicuously labeled as such, and kept editorially separate from our independent analysis — see the homepage's note on separating editorial content from future sponsorship areas.
What we don't do
- We don't publish fabricated statistics or invented sources.
- We don't invent author credentials, testimonials, or claims about readership, partnerships, or awards.
- We don't present unverified industry chatter as established fact.
